The Lemmons Center is best known for its unique design, which has been copied by local area schools. Designed to look like a water molecule from above, the building is made up of three hexagons and is set up to utilize the space as efficiently as possible.
In addition to classroom space, it houses a printmaking studio, a photography darkroom, and animation, graphics and interior design labs.
The Lemmons Center is named for John and Joan Lemmons, longtime supporters of the university who helped fund a complete renovation of the space in 1997.
